Bipolar Disorder: Mixed Episode/Rapid Cycling
Chief Complaint
A 32-year-old, single, white female with a long history of depression presented for treatment, with her mother, on the recommendation of her primary care physician. Her chief complaints on presentation were that she has suffered from “mood swings her whole life,” and she needs a change in her medication regimen because she has been “feeling worse over the past few months.”
